PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
N-acetylcysteine (NAC) is the N-acetyl derivative of the amino acid L-cysteine. It is an important reducing agent, known for its marked antioxidant properties. NAC is able to increase the plasma levels of a primary antioxidant naturally present in our body, glutathione, an important enzyme cofactor highly protective against oxidation processes.
Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA), also known as thioctic acid, has unique antioxidant properties: it protects nerve fibers and cells from damage by free radicals both in the aqueous (cytoplasm) and lipid cellular compartments (cell membrane). In addition, it regenerates other antioxidant molecules (vitamin C, coenzyme Q10, vitamin E).
In Naxend®, alpha-lipoic acid is present within a polymer matrix which allows controlled and prolonged release of the active substance over time (which otherwise would have a very low half-life time). This allows a maximum absorption of the alpha-lipoic acid protracted over time, optimizes the number of daily administrations and allows a lower dosage of alpha-lipoic acid compared to common formulations.
Bromelain, an enzyme obtained from the pineapple, has a natural anti-inflammatory action.

Female pelvic pain is a highly debilitating condition that impairs women’s quality of life. It is a sense of malaise, more or less accentuated, which is perceived at the level of the pelvis, the anatomical structure that includes the cavity of the pelvis and organs and tissues contained in it. Pelvic pain is mainly present in women with gynecological disorders such as endometriosis, dysmenorrhea, ovulation, vulvodynia, interstitial cystitis. Many women suffer for it and if it lasts more than 4-6 months, it is considered chronic.
Three main components make NAXEND an excellent remedy for chronic pelvic pains.
Let’s find out what they are:
In order to don’t focus too much on the annoying pelvic pain, first you have to loosen tensions, eliminate stress and learn specific techniques to manage anxiety.
These pains, however, can also be prevented with a correct nutrition.
It is important to avoid certain foods, such as those that can irritate the intestines, and worsen the condition of those who, for example, suffer from irritable bowel syndrome.
In particular, all the so-called junk food rich in fats and sugars.
In addition, caffeine, lactose, sorbitol and fructose should be avoided. Among the good tips to follow, do not forget to practice physical activity, specifically exercises for the pelvic floor can be a valuable help to relieve and prevent this kind of pain.
